Transparent Pricing
No hidden fees. No surprises. We earn when you earn — that’s the only model that makes sense for a local marketplace.
Free During Beta
CoShop is completely free for all vendors right now. No charges, no commitments, no credit card required. We’ll give you at least 60 days notice before any pricing changes take effect.
How the Fees Work
Clean prices for customers. Transparent deductions for vendors.
What customers see
No processing fee added to the customer’s bill. The price they see is the price they pay.
What vendors receive (beta)
Stripe’s card processing fee (~2.9% + $0.30) is deducted from your payout — the same cost as running your own card reader.
Our Future Pricing Model
After beta, CoShop will move to a small commission per transaction. Here’s why that’s better for you than a subscription.
~10% Commission per Sale
Pay a small percentage only when you make a sale. Slow week? You pay nothing. Great week? We celebrate with you.
- Only pay when you earn
- No risk during slow seasons
- Aligns our success with yours
- No upfront cost to get started
Example: You sell $500 in a week → CoShop earns $50. You keep $450.
Monthly Subscription
A fixed monthly fee regardless of how much you sell. Common with big platforms — but not fair to small vendors.
- You pay even in a slow month
- High risk if sales are seasonal
- Platform earns whether you do or not
- Discourages small or part-time vendors
Example: You have a slow week with $0 in sales → you still pay $50/month.

Common Questions
When will CoShop start charging?
We haven't set a date yet. When we do, we'll give every vendor at least 60 days written notice before any charges begin. You'll never be surprised by a bill.
Is the 10% commission rate final?
The exact rate will be confirmed before we exit beta. We're committed to keeping it fair and competitive — lower than most food delivery platforms.
Are there listing fees or monthly fees?
No. We don't charge per listing and we won't introduce a monthly subscription. Commission-only means you only pay when you sell.
How does the commission work in practice?
During beta, the only deduction from your payout is Stripe's card processing fee (~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). After beta, CoShop's commission would also be deducted. Customers always see a clean price — no extra fees added to their bill.
What if I'm a very small vendor or just getting started?
Commission-based pricing is designed for you. There's no minimum. If you sell $50 in a week, the commission is $5. No risk, no pressure.
